3 Tools You Need to Craft a Luxury Client Experience

But how do you craft such an elevated experience?

It’s all about having the right tools. Here, we’ll look at three essential tools for providing your customers with the luxury experience they deserve. From client management software that makes working with you feel easy, to developing a VIP style client portal to making your client experience feel deeply personal (even if you’re an online business), I’ll explain how to create a memorable experience that keeps your customers coming back for more (and telling all of their friends about you too!). 1. Honeybook

Honeybook is a client relationship management platform that is an essential tool for your business if you want to create a luxury experience for your clients. This platform has absolutely everything you need for your client’s journey, from developing custom inquiry contact forms, to booking calls, to creating custom proposals, to taking payments, to creating streamlined workflows… this platform seriously has it all!

Some of my favorite Honeybook features for developing a luxury customer experience include:

  • Custom inquiry forms that integrate directly with your website, sending website inquiries directly to this platform as new leads. You can even create automated response emails with a link straight to your schedule (also included in Honeybook) so they can book a session with you without the constant delay of back-and-forth emailing.

  • Honeybook Smart Files which allow you to take everything online including client intake forms and questionnaires, testimonial and feedback surveys, and proposals. This means you can stop wasting time creating and sending your clients clunky DIYed pdfs and instead create these right in one online space where your clients can always access them and you know they won’t get lost in the depths of your computer files. You can even make these files interactive and include question boxes, check mark boxes, and selection buttons and collect more information from your clients without needing to send more and more emails.

  • Invoicing, Contract, and Payments make it super simple for clients to book with you having all of these features included in one simple platform.

  • Workflows which automate your client journey, allowing you to automatically send emails or deliver resources at each step of your client process- eliminating any delay and keeping your process smooth and efficient!

  • Email Integration which syncs your emails to your Gmail account so that all of your client correspondence can be tracked within your Honeybook platform.


2. Squarespace

An exceptional website is the key to developing a luxury client experience even before a client books with you. Not only does a great website market and convert booked clients for you, but it gives those potential clients a taste of what it could be like working together.

Just think… if you put that much care and intention in the user experience of your website, just imagine what it would be like to actually work with you!

Of course, you can do this with any website platform, but the reason I love Squarespace when it comes to creating a luxury client experience is because of their Members Area feature.

A Members Area is how I’ve created an on-brand, luxury client portal, where my clients can find all of the details about their project, what they can expect from working together, and where they can access all of their essential client resources- all directly on my website.

What both my clients and I love about this feature is that it’s allowed me to eliminate pdf style welcome guides and onboarding packets that just end up getting lost or forgotten about.

When I added a Members Area for my clients, my client responses blew me away. They loved how clear and easy the onboarding process was and wanted to learn how they could re-create the same experience for their own clients!


3. Loom

Loom is a video recording service that provides a personalized and elevated experience for your clients (and probably the simplest tool that completely transformed by business!)

Since so many businesses are run 100% online and we work with our clients virtually, creating video tutorials is an potent way to make your work feel highly personal as an online business.

You can use Loom to record tutorials in a number of ways for you business that will create a luxury client experience:

  • Create a quick 3-5 min tutorial that walks inquiries through your different package options or your 1:1 process. Include this video in an automated response email (via Honeybook!) that gets sent to leads immediately after they inquire with you. This helps answer questions they may have immediately and helps them get to know you a little bit better before you hop on a discovery call.

  • Use tutorials to walk clients through your onboarding process so that they can better understand your client portals, homework, or any other onboarding material.

  • Create a quick video to talk clients through deliverables such as proposals, presentations, questionnaires, test results, or personalized strategies/plans.
